Assignment. PRACTITIONER shall not have the right to assign its rights or obligations hereunder without the prior written consent of AP. Any proposed assignment in contravention of this section shall be null and void.
Notices. All notices required or given herewith shall be in writing addressed to PRACTITIONER/SALON or AP at the designated addresses shown on the signature page hereto and shall be deemed to have been given upon delivery if delivered by hand, via telephone facsimile or electronic mail or by overnight courier service or five (5) days after such notice is deposited in the U.S. mail by certified mail, return receipt requested.
Counterparts. This Agreement may be executed in any number of counterparts. It is not necessary that all parties sign all or any one of the counterparts, but each party must sign at least one counterpart for this Agreement to be effective.
Waiver. No waiver of any provision of this Agreement or any breach thereunder shall be deemed a waiver of any other provision or subsequent breach hereof, nor shall any such waiver constitute a continuing waiver. Delay or failure of either party to insist on strict performance or observance of any provision of this Agreement or to exercise any rights or remedies hereunder, shall not be deemed a waiver. No party may waive any of its or his rights or any obligation of the other parties or any provision of this Agreement except by an instrument in writing signed by that party.
Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter contained herein and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous undertakings and agreements of the Parties, whether written or oral, with respect to the subject matter herein. This Agreement shall not be amended except by a writing executed by both parties.

Alexandria Professional® Liability Release Form
This Agreement is entered into between Alexandria Professional® and the undersigned (“Practitioner”). The provision of training services by Alexandria Professional® to Practitioner, and Practitioner’s use of any premises, facilities or equipment are contingent upon this Agreement.
RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY. Practitioner recognizes that there are hazards and risks connected with hair removal techniques such as adverse reactions. As such, the Practitioner hereby exempts, releases and holds harmless Alexandria Professional®, and its officers, agents, employees and volunteers, from any and all claims or causes of action arising out of personal injuries suffered by him/her and/or their responsible parties during the course of training. It is further acknowledged by the Practitioner, that the Practitioner is responsible for the safety of the responsible parties they have brought to the Alexandria Professional® Facility. The Practitioner further agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Alexandria Professional® against any loss, damage or expense incurred by reason of any claim or liability based upon personal injury or property damage arising out of the action of Practitioner or his/her responsible party.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: You expressly agree that the foregoing release and waiver of liability is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the law.
You acknowledge that you have carefully read this waiver and release and fully understand that it is a release of liability, express assumption of risk and indemnity agreement. You are aware and agree that by executing this waiver and release, you are giving up your right to bring a legal action or assert a claim against Alexandria Professional® for Alexandria Professional’s® negligence, or for any defective product used while receiving training services from Alexandria Professional®. You have read and voluntarily signed the waiver and release and further agree that no oral representations, statements, or inducement apart from the foregoing written agreement have been made.
AP Course Participation Policy
Attendance Policy Participants must attend the full duration of the training to be eligible for certification. To maintain a focused learning environment, all mobile phones must be silenced and put away during class. If you are expecting an urgent call or require access to your phone for an emergency, please discuss this with your AP Educator prior to the start of class.
Dress Code Policy Participants are expected to present themselves in a professional manner.
Long hair must be tied back.
Wear comfortable clothing that does not expose the shoulders or feet.
Maintain good personal hygiene and fresh breath.
Keep jewelry to a minimum.
Avoid wearing perfumes or heavily scented products.
Long fingernails should be trimmed to allow for proper technique and model comfort.

Theory and Practical Policy
Course Format This course consists of:<.br>
30% Theory (completed online through the AP Online Academy)
70% Practical Training (completed during the in-person class)
Participants are required to complete The Kennedy Theory® in the AP Online Academy prior to attending the hands-on training. The online theory provides the comprehensive knowledge required for certification and serves as the foundation for the practical portion of the course.
Key theory concepts will be reviewed and reinforced during the in-person training; however, they will not be covered in the same depth as the online course. Participants are expected to arrive having completed the required online theory and prepared to apply that knowledge during practical training.

Practical Training Requirements Practical training is an essential component of certification. Participants are expected to both perform treatments and serve as models to ensure they gain a complete understanding of the Alexandria Professional® sugaring experience.
Certification Areas Participants must successfully complete practical training in the following areas:
Full Legs
Underarms
Eyebrows
Upper Lip
Basic Bikini
Participant Requirements
Have a minimum of 10 days of hair growth on all required treatment areas.
Be prepared to serve as a model for all certification areas.
Notify the AP Educator before class if you are unable to receive treatment on any required area.
If a substitute model is required, the participant is responsible for providing one. All substitute models:
Must be pre-approved by the AP Educator or AP Corporate.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must sign a Model Release Form.
Must be available for all required practical sessions.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 48 hours before and after training.
Disclose any medications, topical products, or medical conditions that may present contraindications before class.

Certification Policy To become certified, participants must:
Successfully complete the Advanced Certification Course.
Complete the online Kennedy Theory® modules and Final Exam.
Sanitation Policy Participants are responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary learning environment.
At the end of each training day, participants must disinfect and clean all assigned work areas using the products provided by Alexandria Professional®, including but not limited to:
Treatment beds
Trolleys
Equipment
Workstations
Manufacturer Policy To maintain eligibility under Alexandria Professional® manufacturer-supported insurance coverage, certified practitioners must:
